Easter Ellie- PND Post

Today is my day to post over on the Paper Nest Dolls blog. I'm sharing with you an Easter card which may be a little late (or really early for next year ;) hehe). I have used Easter Bunny Ellie......

She is just sooooo cute and I am so loving her long flowing locks, I have to say they are so fun to colour.

The papers which match so well are from a Heidi Grace paper pad. Spring is definitely in the air with this card.

And a little close up of the coloured image.....

Thanks for hopping by!

I went with a tri-fold card and thought it would be fun to shape the top like a long winding road coming down a hill. The cute litle car and camper are from Lawn Fawn- Happy Trails,  I stamped these onto Neenah Solar White Card with Momento 'Tuxedo Black' and coloured them up using Copic Markers before fussy cutting around them.

For the card I scored a piece of white card stock at 3 and 6 inches and cut at 9. I marked a diagonal line across the width of the card in pencil then with a black fineliner I drew in the wiggly lines of the road and cute along those.

I then drew in the other lines for the road and coloured up the scene using Copics. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut out some trees from the same Lawn Fawn set and suck to the back of the trail to add more dimension to my scene.

I added the car and camper using foam pads and the fun sentiment which goes so well with this scene is from Paper Smooches- Birthday Sampler.

Thank you so much for scooting by!

Happy Easter

This is my second post of the day so my Loves Rubberstamps blog hop post is under this one.

I hope you have had a lovely Easter Sunday I just wanted to share with you an Easter card I made using the inspiration over at Taheerah's blog. This is my first time playing along with her Cure For The Monday Blues challenge, here is the inspiration photo...

I was inspired by the white rabbits with the neon coloured bows around their necks.... I knew immediatly which stamp set I was going to use, Mama Elephant's Honey Bunny was just the set!

I stamped three of the same bunny, added a little shading with Copics and dressed them up with a neon bow tie.

The sentiment is from the same set and I have created a popped up ribbon banner with a couple of folds and some foam pads.

Thank you so much for popping by and Happy Easter!

Bright Happy Cheers!

Hello and Happy Good Friday to you all. Today it's my day to post over on the Make The Day Special Blog. I'm sharing with you a pretty bright card using Avery Elles 'Cheers' stamp set.

I also want to try out for the Case Study Team- my muse is Jennifer McGuire. Here is here card that I'm casing...

And my take on it.....

For the sentiment panel I used the bleed technique that Jennifer McGuire did HERE by inking up my stamp using three different Distress Inks (Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry). I then dropped water splotches over it, waited for it to dry and then over stamped it using Archival Black ink.

For the background panel I have used Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry. I used the mini blending tools to blend the colours together. I then added some water drops to it to add some texture.

I then wanted to add a bit more of a bubbly texture to the background so I took the Falling Snow Stencil from Simon Says Stamp but placed it so the bubbles were 'falling' to the right. I used clear embossing paste just to add the bubbly effect.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Dazzling Diva Challenge #21

As it's Wednesday there is a new challenge starting over at Add A Little Dazzle. This weeks theme is Mother's Day?Anything Goes and here is the gorgeous image.....

I took the gorgeous colours and flowers for my inspiration.

Firstly I cut a panel of Baby Blue AALD craft metal sheet (link the Add A Little Dazzle Boutique is in my side bar) to cover the front of my card. I then used a stencil from Simon Says Stamp, Falling Hearts, and clear embossing paste (embossing paste can also be fount in the Add A Little Dazzle Boutique) to create the hearts on the metal. Before the paste dried I added teal glitter to it for added sparkle.

To create the flower panel I took a strip of water colourcard and using Wplus9 More Fresh Cuts I second generation stamped DI 'Picked Raspberry', 'Festive Berries' and ' Evergreen Bough'. The second geration stamping softens these colours greatly I then added a spritz of water to add to the faux watercolour effect.

I stamped a sentiment from Paper Smooches 'Pretty Phrases' onto vellum and then attached this and the floral panel using staples.

So for you chance to win a $15 AALD Store Voucher please link up your projects over on the Add A Little Dazzle Dazzling Diva Challenge. Remember you can use the gorgeous inspiration or just go Anything Goes. Also don't forget to check out my fellow teamies and take a peek at the gorgeous projects they came up with. Also also don't forget to stock up on the Add A Little Dazzle metal sheets from the store so you too can join me on the journey of metal crafting perfection.

Thanks for popping by!

Anything Goes At Make The Day Special

Today starts the third and final week of the Anything Goes challenge over at Make The Day Special. There is a £15 gift voucher up for grabs, so why not enter your card to be in with a chance of winning it.

The inspiration for my card comes from the new challenge over at Mama Elephant ... here' the pic...

I thought it looked very beachy so I went for a beach scene. Firstly I stamped the bunnies from 'Honey Bunny' using Archival ink so I could watercolour my scene without the ink running.

I then used my watercolour pencils and a waterbrush to create a sunset over the horizon for the two rabbits to stare out over.

After the watercolours were dry (with a little help from my heat tool) I then stamped the sentiment from Up And Away which I really felt fit with the picture I had created.

Thank you so much for popping by!

Before gluing them down I used my new tool the Tim Holtz spritzer with a bright pink Copic Marker to create a halo effect behind the crowned frog.

The sentiment I made up using Lawn Fawn- Milo's ABCs.
