Washi at Loves Rubberstamps

Well yesterday was a mix of good (meeting up with friends for a play date at the play area), really crummy (dentist.... yuk how I hate you but no scrapey thing ..yay!) and totally awesome (I won the $100 vocher from Wplus9 ... gonna have some fun spending that). So by the end of that it was an early night for me. Is it just my kids but do they seem to get up earlier when they are on school holidays??? Arch and Tills were up before the heating came on this morning ... something tells me I'm going to go through some coffee today ;).

So onto this weeks challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps... this weeks challenge is too use Washi Tape. This a a great embellishment to add to your cards just to add a little 'something' without adding any bulk.

For my card I have used the fab set from Lawn Fawn 'Science Of Love' just love those little birds.. they are sooo tweet! hehe see what I did there?!?! I also used Woodgrain Backdrops from Lawn Fawn over the yellow patterned paper to add extra interest.

I have dusted off an old paper pad (Doodlebug 'Happy Harvest') with I think works so well with these cute little images.
