Dazzling Diva Challenge #50 And A Have A Happy Bonfire Night

Hi there and happy Wednesday! And for those of us in the UK .. Happy Guy Fawkes Night! Do you have anything planned? Since moving to the village of Buckley 3 years ago we go to the open fireworks display here... now I am not a fan of fireworks myself, to be truly honesty they scare the life out of me ... but to see my littles faces it's worth the loud bangs, fear and normally the sogginess from the rain. How are you planning on spending this eve?
Well today is Wednesday so that means a new challenge is starting over at Add A Little Dazzle....

We are asking that you use colours from this image in your project.

For the wreath I have first used the fullest wreath image from Wplus9 'Woodland Wreaths' and inked with 'Peeled Paint' Distress Ink and then spritzed lightly over it with clean water. Once this was dry I then stamped the more sparse wreath image over it useing 'Field Greens' Hero Arts Shadow Ink.

To create the berries I punched small holes using my Crop-o-dile around the wreath and then added some Scarlett Red Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal to the back so it would shine through the punched holes.

For the joy sentiment I cut a number of Lawn Fawn 'Scripty Joy' die-cuts out of white cardstock and one from Brushed Bronze Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal and stacked them with the Brushed Bronze Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal on top.

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I'm also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon.

Hugs Lydia xxx

  1. Very pretty - love the twine and bells at the bottom to bring out the red in your wreath.
