Spring Florals

You may be happy to hear that I actually had a good sleep ... although quite an early morning, the only bad thing about the mornings getting brighter is the little ones getting up earlier...yawn, but after my coffee I'm starting to feel a little more awake. Another mug or twelve of the good old Nescafe and I'll be a-okay. Really happy that the sun is out, although a still chilly at least we can spend some time in the garden to see if we can spot any signs of the coming spring.

Talking of spring... I made a very spring like card yesterday. I am sooooo bored of winter now (ok to be fair I was bored of winter to days into November, really not a cold kind of gal myself... so if you are somewhere where it never gets cold and are willing to take on 4 lodgers just let me know ;) ), so I needed to colours of spring flowers to take a lil' dampener off the cold, wet windy day that was yesterday.

Front view.....

Side'ish view....

Take a peek at that dimension.....

And check out all those awesome layers of florals......

Ahhh... makes me think of spring already. I have used three sets from Wplus9 - Fresh Cut Florals (& dies), Valentine Wishes (I know I'm atticted to that font... but I could be addicted to worse) and Coming Up Roses ( I know its only making a cameo as I have only used the baby's breath flowers from the set).  I have placed the flowers and leaves above and below the diagonal layer to add lots of dimension, the added foam pad here and there adds to the effect also.

Well I'm off to fire up the peculator and be a nature tracker with my mini's. Really hope I have filled you with thoughts of spring and have a great day!

Hugs, Lydia xxx
