Sensational Sunday Blog hop At Loves Rubberstamps

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher! We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

I have made a simple Christmas card to share with you today. I have used one of the Lawn Fawn sets from last years with Stazon ink before colouring them in on the back with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from the same set.

Now let's hop along and see what the Design Team ladies have in store for you...

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon.

  3. Absolutely brilliant, Lydia! I just searched out this card specifically again today because it has given me an idea for a card of my own and I just wondered how on earth you made the card "sturdy" enough to stand? Does the acetate go from top to bottom to provide the stability? I can't imagine that just a sliver of it make the card front stable.

    Cheers!

    1. Hi there Julia. It is just a 'sliver'. I use really thick acetate that you could even use as a full card blank if you wanted to :) The acetate I'm using is from Hunkydory and is great quality.
Thanks for the lovely comment :D

    2. Thank you, Lydia! I think I have something similar ... somewhere in my craft room. Good excuse to go diving through my unused supplies ;)
